Rajashekar Sandstone

We are Rajashekar Sandstone, located right on Station Road near Shivaji Chowk. It is a noisy part of town with all the traffic and people moving towards the station. Our place is at 3/4/891. We have been here for quite some time now, dealing with all kinds of sandstone. The yard is usually full of blocks and slabs waiting to be loaded onto trucks. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We have a small area where we handle the paperwork and the rest is just stone sitting out. Some people stop by just to see what the different colors look like in the natural sunlight. Sandstone can be tricky because no two pieces are exactly the same. We tell folks that right away so they aren't surprised later on. Our team is small, mostly just local guys who know how to handle the heavy lifting. We don't really do much advertising around here. Most people find us because they saw the sign while heading to the train or a neighbor told them about us. It’s a lot of manual work and the dust gets everywhere, especially when it’s windy near the chowk. We just try to provide what people need for their building projects without making a big fuss about it. We are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down, just doing our thing and keeping the yard running.
