Silvobright Metals

You can find us at D-108 in the MIDC area. It’s a standard industrial plot. We work with different types of metals here at Silvobright Metals. The name sounds a bit flashy, but the work is mostly dirty and hard. We have machines running for most of the day. The sound of metal hitting metal is something you just stop hearing after a week of working here. The office is a small cabin off to the side of the main floor. It has a glass window so I can see what’s going on outside. We get a lot of scrap metal in and send out processed bits. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. My back usually aches by the end of the shift. We have a small crew. Most of the guys have been with us for years. We eat lunch together sitting on crates in the shade. It’s not the most comfortable, but it works. MIDC is always humming with activity. There’s always a truck blocking the road or someone fixing a pipe. We just navigate around it. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. We just talk to the people who need metal and tell them what we have in stock. If the price is right, we do a deal. That’s how it’s always been for us. There is always more work to be done and we just keep the machines going until quitting time.
