You can find us at 2150-51, Gali No 1, in Chuna Mandi. Being in Paharganj means it’s always crowded and noisy outside our door. We deal with all sorts of machinery and parts here at Nobel Machinery. The shop is packed with crates and heavy equipment, so there isn’t much room to walk around sometimes. We spend our days talking to mechanics and people looking for specific tools. It’s a lot of lifting and moving things around. The air usually smells a bit like oil and old metal. We’ve been in this lane for a long time, and we’ve seen shops come and go. It’s a tough business because people always want things yesterday. We keep a lot of stock on hand because you never know what someone might need. Sometimes we are digging through the back of the shop for an hour just to find one specific bolt or gear. Our walls are covered in calendars and old posters. It’s a bit of a maze in here. Most of our customers are regulars who know exactly what they want. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that, just the shop and our phone. It’s a basic operation. We show up early, open the shutters, and start moving boxes. By the time we close up, we’re usually pretty tired and covered in grease. It’s just how it is working in a place like this in Delhi, day after day.
