Kandula Renuka

My name is Kandula Renuka and I live and work right here in Thipparthy. My house is H. No. C65-3-16 and that is where I do most of my things. Life in a village like this in Telangana is quiet but there is always something to do. I don't have a big store with glass windows. It's just me working from my home. People from the village know where to find me if they need something. Sometimes I'm busy with the house work and then I have to shift to my business work. It's a mix of both all day long. The sun gets very hot here so I usually start my work very early in the morning before it gets too much. My neighbors often stop by just to talk or ask about my family. We all know each other here. Thipparthy is a small place and news travels fast. I try to keep my records in a small notebook so I don't forget who owes what or what needs to be done next. It's not a corporate setup at all. My children sometimes play nearby while I am trying to finish my tasks. It can be a bit messy sometimes with papers or supplies on the floor. I just do my best to keep everything organized. It’s a simple life and I like being my own boss in my own house.
