Banothu Sudhakar.

My place is over at H.No. 4-131 in Lal Thanda. We are situated in Sirikonda village, which falls under the Mothey mandal in Telangana. I’ve lived in this area my whole life. The business isn't really a big corporation or anything like that. It’s just me, Sudhakar, doing what I know how to do best. I learned most of this from watching others and just trying things out until they worked. Lal Thanda is a small community where everyone is pretty much connected. We spend our days making sure we take care of whatever comes through the door. Sometimes the roads are a bit rough getting here, but people still find their way. I usually have tea in the morning before starting the main work. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. There isn’t a fancy sign out front, but if you ask for the Banothu house, people will point you the right way. I think it’s important to stay consistent. We’ve had good years and some tough ones, but we are still here at the same address. I don’t use a lot of big words to explain what we do. It’s just practical work that helps the people around us. Every day is a bit different, depending on what the neighbors need or what the season is. That’s really all there is to it. I keep a few chairs outside for anyone who needs to rest for a minute while we talk about the work that needs finishing.
