Aruna Lunavath

I am based out of my home, which is House Number 7-4/10, in Mungal Thanda. This is part of the Kandagatla village in the Atmakur Mandal. It is a bit out of the way for some people, but it’s where I grew up and where my family stays. My work is simple and I handle it myself most of the time. People from around the thanda come by when they need help with something, and I do my best to get it sorted for them. The roads around here can be a bit rough during the rainy season, which makes travel slow, but we manage to get by. I don’t have a big fancy storefront or anything like that. I just have a small room where I keep my things and talk to anyone who stops by for a chat or for business. It’s a small community and everyone knows everyone else’s business, so you have to work hard to keep a good name. I’ve lived here a long time and I don’t see myself going anywhere else. Sometimes the work is slow and other times it’s very busy, that’s just the way things go in the village. I try to keep a regular schedule, though sometimes life here means things don’t always go according to plan. I’m just a local person named Aruna Lunavath trying to provide for my family through this work. It’s not much, but it’s honest work and it keeps me occupied through the day. People know they can find me here if they need something.
