Our office is located on the 4th floor of Kamanwala Chambers on Sir P M Road. It’s an old building with a lot of history, and you can feel it in the narrow hallways and the way the windows are shaped. We work in the chemical sector, but our office here is mostly for the administrative and sales side of things. It’s a lot of files, permits, and coordination with the labs. The desks are covered in papers and there is always a printer humming somewhere in the corner. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a modern lobby. We have some old wooden chairs and a lot of filing cabinets. The traffic on PM Road is a constant soundtrack to our day. We’ve been here for a long time, so we know all the other tenants in the building. Lunch is usually a quick affair, often brought from home or grabbed from a nearby stall. We don't have fancy corporate retreats or big mission statements on the walls. We just make sure the orders are correct and the chemical shipments are moving as they should. It’s a lot of technical talk on the phones and checking specifications over and over. Sometimes the elevator is out of service, which is a bit of a climb, but we don't mind much. It’s a steady, practical environment where we focus on the details of the business without any extra fluff.
