Our office is tucked away on the ground floor over in the Barkatpura area. It is a decent enough spot in Hyderabad, though finding a parking space is always a total nightmare if you get here even five minutes after nine. Inside, the setup is mostly just rows of desks with computers and a lot of tangled wires running under the floor. We spend the whole day staring at screens, trying to fix coding bugs or build out whatever the clients asked for this week. It gets very quiet when everyone is focused, just the sound of people typing and the low hum of the server in the corner. We keep a stash of biscuits and some instant coffee in the small pantry area because the workdays can get pretty long when we have a deadline. Sometimes we are here until late at night when a project is finally due. The street outside is always noisy with auto-rickshaws and people walking by, but you get used to the racket after a week. We are not one of those big tech companies with fancy bean bags and free catered lunches. It is just a regular office where we do our coding work and hope the internet connection does not go down. Sometimes the landlord comes by to check on the plumbing, and we all have to move our chairs out of the way so he can get to the pipes. It is a bit cramped, and the lighting could be a lot better, but we get the work done.
