We are located at Plot No. A-1/4 and A-1/5-B in Phase-1 of GIDC, Vatva. Having two plots gives us a bit more room to breathe, which is nice when things get busy. We deal with dyestuffs here. It’s a colorful business, but it's also quite messy. You can usually tell what we’ve been making that day just by looking at the floor or the workers' aprons. We’ve got the big vats for the dyes and a lot of space for drying. The air in the morning is usually a bit better before the machines really get going. We have a solid team of people who have been doing this for years. They know exactly how the process should look at every stage. We don't use much in the way of fancy gadgets for the office. Most of our attention is on the production floor. It can get pretty humid in Vatva, especially during the rainy season, so the fans are always running. We don't have a lot of visitors, mostly just the truck drivers who know the route well. We just keep our heads down and focus on the batches. It’s the kind of work that stays with you, sometimes literally if you get a bit of dye on your skin. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the quality is what it needs to be. It is just steady industrial work.
