We are based at H. No 6-5-13/49/A, specifically Plot No 28 in Phase V of the Mig 1 area in Self Finance Colony. Vanasthalipuram is a quiet place and our office fits right in with that. It’s a residential-style building where we’ve set up our surveying tools and planning desks. There are maps rolled up in every corner and a few tripods leaning against the wall near the entrance. We spend about half our time out in the field and the other half sitting here at the desks, drawing out lines and checking measurements on the computer. The office isn't very decorated; it’s mostly just shelves full of old files and land records that we need to refer to. We have a small table for when clients come in to look at their plot layouts. The neighborhood is mostly families, so it’s pretty peaceful during the day, except for the occasional dog barking or a delivery truck passing through. We don't do any big marketing or have a flashy sign outside. People usually find us through word of mouth or by seeing the address. It’s a steady job that requires a lot of patience and looking at small details. We just keep our instruments calibrated and our records organized, making sure the plans we put together are as accurate as we can make them without any fuss or unnecessary complication in the paperwork.
