Vicas Engineering Co.

Over at Plot No. E-81/82 in Gidc-2, Dared, things are always moving. Jamnagar is a busy place for engineering and we are right in the middle of it. Our workshop has that smell of cut metal and machine oil that never really goes away, even after we scrub the floors. We spend a lot of time at the lathes and milling machines. Some days are loud with the sound of grinding, other days it's just the steady hum of the motors. We started this place with just a couple of machines and grew it slowly. There’s no big reception area or anyone wearing a suit here. Usually, you’ll find us in our overalls with grease on our hands. The paperwork piles up on the small desk near the entrance, right next to the stack of old blueprints. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so much equipment now, but we manage to find what we need. When the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just sit outside and wait it out with the other guys from the neighboring plots. We’ve worked on all sorts of parts for different industries over the years. It’s hard work, and the heat in Jamnagar doesn't help much during the summer, but we like the feeling of finishing a job correctly. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing every day to keep the machines running and the customers satisfied.
