We’re located over at Plot No. C-1/B 4322 in Phase-4 of the GIDC. The area is pretty industrial, with trucks constantly moving in and out, kicking up a lot of dust. Our workshop is where we spend the majority of our time, dealing with all sorts of metal fabrication. We have a few old lathes and some newer milling machines that take up most of the floor space. It’s a noisy environment, especially when the grinders are going, so we’ve all gotten used to communicating with hand signals. The office is just a tiny partitioned room with a couple of filing cabinets and a desk that’s seen better days. We don’t bother much with decor because we’re too busy actually making things. Most mornings start with a quick meeting to see what orders need to go out by the end of the day. The guys on the floor are experts at what they do, even if they don't say much. We handle everything from cutting to finishing, and there’s always a pile of shavings that needs sweeping up. It gets quite stuffy inside during the peak of summer, so we keep the big shutter doors open as much as possible. It’s not a soft job, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a raw piece of metal turn into a finished component. We’ve been at this for years and it’s just our daily routine now.
