Shree M B Metal Corporation

Our place, Shree M B Metal Corporation, is located on Road No. 9 at Plot No. 386 in the GIDC. It is a solid spot, right there where all the heavy transport trucks move through the estate. We have been operating from this same building for a long time. It is mostly metal work here, so the sound of clanging and cutting is basically our background music from morning until evening. You get used to it after a week on the job. The office is just a small corner with a couple of chairs and a desk covered in papers and old invoices. We do not really do the whole corporate image thing. Most of the guys here wear work clothes that are stained with oil or grey dust because that is the reality of working with metal. The sun hits the metal roof of Plot 386 pretty hard in the afternoon, making the whole place feel like an oven, but the big fans keep the air moving enough to work. We take our breaks together and talk about the news or what is happening with the other businesses in the estate. There is no big philosophy behind what we do. We just take the raw material and turn it into what is needed for the day. Sometimes things go smoothly, and sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend half the shift fixing it ourselves. It is just a regular industrial life.
