Wani is a town that knows all about dust and industry, so having a cement business here in Sadashiv Nagar feels right. We are located in the Chikhalgaon part of Wani, which is in the Yavatmal district of Maharashtra. It’s a hardworking area, and our daily routine is built around the arrival and departure of cement trucks. The office is a basic room with a few tables and a lot of paperwork scattered around. We handle the local distribution for Ultratech, and it keeps us plenty busy from morning until evening. The coal mines nearby mean the whole town has a bit of a grit to it, and our yard is no different. We don't spend money on making the place look like a showroom because that's not what our customers care about. They just want to know if the stock is in and when it can be delivered. We have a couple of guys who handle the heavy lifting and a small desk for the accounts. It’s a bit cramped when several people come in at once, but we manage. The roads around here can be rough, which makes the logistics a bit of a challenge sometimes. We just do our best to stay organized and keep the orders moving. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s essential for the building that’s going on in this part of the state.
