Shree Datta Enterprises

Down here in Itawa Village, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We are located in Pusad Taluka, which is part of the Yavatmal District. If you are looking for us, we aren't far from Subhas Chowk. Shree Datta Enterprises is just a small operation run by a few of us who grew up around here. The building is nothing special, just a sturdy place that keeps the rain out. We mostly spend our days sitting in the office area or moving things around the store room. In the summer, it gets incredibly hot in this part of Maharashtra, so we stay inside as much as possible during the middle of the day. You can hear the sounds of the village outside, like the tractors going by or people chatting as they walk toward the chowk. We don't have a big website or a social media person. Most people just know us because they’ve lived here forever. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phone line acts up, but we manage to get things done eventually. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day while we wait for deliveries or customers to drop in. It’s a quiet life for the most part, and we like it that way. We don't try to be something we’re not. We just open up in the morning, do what needs doing, and lock up when the day is finished.
