Shubham Panwar Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Village Bhagwangarh 11, which is near Radaur in the Jagadhri area. We are located at Raj Kumar’s place. It is a small setup because we are mostly focused on what is happening in the fields around the village. We started this to help the local farmers get a better handle on their produce. Most days involve a lot of walking around and checking on how things are growing. It is not the kind of place with a big sign or a lobby. You just come to the village and ask for Raj Kumar’s house. We are usually around there or nearby. We deal with whatever the season brings, whether it is wheat or something else. The work is steady but it is not always easy, especially when the rains do not come when they are supposed to. We try to stay organized but things can get a bit messy during harvest time. That is just the way it is when you are working with the earth. We have lived in this part of Jagadhri our whole lives, so we know the soil and the people here quite well. It is a practical business, run by people who actually do the work. We are not looking to grow into some huge company, just want to keep things running right for the families in Bhagwangarh. We just take it one day at a time.
