You can find us over at number 1 in Puncholian Mohalla, right near the old Buria Fort in Jagadhri. It’s a historic area, but our work is very much about the present day. Bhoomitattva Farmers Producer Company Limited is run by a small group of us who live right here in the VPO Buria. We spend our days talking about the land and the crops. The fort is a nice landmark for visitors, but we're usually too busy to look at it much. Our office is just a simple room where we keep the registers and files. We deal with a lot of local farmers who come by to chat or drop off their paperwork throughout the week. Jagadhri is a good place to be, even if the roads get a bit muddy and difficult when it rains. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just write down what we see and what we need in plain English. Sometimes the accounts take a long time because we still do most of them by hand. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning till night. We know the soil around here better than anyone else does. We’re not a corporate office with air conditioning and glass walls. We have ceiling fans and open doors to let the breeze in. People come and go all day. We try to keep things simple and fair.
