Dokua Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in Soragre. Our main point of contact is in the village, near the Eden Bari post office in the Rongram block. This is in the West Garo Hills, a place where farming is the main way of life for almost everyone. We are a company made up of local farmers who wanted to work together instead of trying to do everything alone. The Rongram C & RD Block is a busy area for agriculture, and we are right in the middle of it. Our office is just a plain room where we handle the administrative side of things. It’s not very big, but it’s enough for what we need. We spend our days checking on the crops and meeting with the different families who are part of the producer company. There is always something to do, whether it’s fixing a fence or figuring out transport for the harvest. We don't have any corporate polish; we just talk like the neighbors we are. The West Garo Hills can be a challenging place to farm because of the terrain, but we know the land and how to work with it. We just want to keep things moving forward for our village and make sure our work is sustainable for the long run. We aren't experts in big business, but we know how to grow things and get them to the market.
