Zaman Polytex Private Limited

Our place, Zaman Polytex Private Limited, is tucked away at 33/1 on Pilkhana 3rd Lane. It is over in Uluberia - I, which is a busy part of Howrah in West Bengal. If you are familiar with the 711101 area, you know it is a maze of narrow lanes and local houses built close together. Being on the 3rd lane means it is a little bit quieter than the main road but it is still a very active spot. We work with polytex material and the storage space is right there connected to our small office. It has a very local and neighborly feel to it. We see the same people walking their cycles by every single day. The humidity in Howrah can be really intense sometimes so we usually have the ceiling fans going full blast just to keep the air moving. We are just regular people coming in to do our jobs. There is not any of that corporate polish or fancy branding here. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we ever found the time, but we are more focused on moving the stock. Most of our day is spent checking the inventory and talking to the local drivers who come to pick up the goods. We usually have a bit of a slow start in the morning with some hot tea before the real rush of the day begins. It is a straightforward life here in Uluberia. We do not try to be anything we are not. We just run our business from this little spot on the lane and try to keep things moving.
