Xpressions Salon & Makeup Studio

Club Road in Punjabi Bagh is a place that never really seems to go to sleep. We are located at number 42, on the first floor, which gives us a nice view of the street below. You can see the cars looking for parking while we’re busy inside with the makeup palettes and hair tools. It’s a lively neighborhood, and our studio reflects that energy. We have a lot of mirrors, and they’re almost always covered in a bit of dust by the end of the shift because of how much hair we cut. We do a lot of bridal work, so there are days when the floor is covered in bobby pins and glitter. It is not always perfectly tidy, but it’s a workspace where things actually happen. The staff here has been together for a while, so we finish each other’s sentences and know who is best at what. We do not use a lot of big words to describe our work. If someone wants a simple haircut, they get a simple haircut. If they want a full face of makeup for a party, we sit them down and get to it. Sometimes the coffee machine acts up, and we have to send someone down the street to get a round of drinks for everyone. It’s just a normal day-to-day life for us here in Delhi, trying to keep up with the trends while staying grounded in what our customers actually ask for.
