Figros Unisex Saloon

Our place is up on the first floor on Club Road West in West Punjabi Bagh. It’s right near the State Bank of India, so it is easy to spot if you are looking for Plot No 1 Nwa. Being on the first floor means you can look down at the traffic on North West Avenue while you’re waiting. It’s a unisex spot, so we get all sorts of people walking through the door. Some days it is mostly guys wanting a quick trim, other days it is ladies looking to get their hair handled. The stairs can be a bit steep if you aren't used to them. Inside, we’ve got the usual setup with benches for waiting and several stations for the work. It’s a bit noisy because of the road outside, but we don’t mind it much anymore. We use simple tools and keep the shelves stocked with whatever we need for the day. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, but we manage just fine. It’s a busy part of Delhi, so there is always someone coming in or leaving. We just keep our heads down and focus on the person in the chair. No one expects anything too grand, just a place to get their hair sorted out. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers come by for a chat when things are slow.
