Our workshop for Varahi Plastics Pvt. Ltd. is located in the Kirti Nagar industrial area, at Wz-8/1. If you know Delhi, you know this part of town is always buzzing with trucks and workers. We’ve been operating from this unit for some time. It’s a practical setup, nothing too modern. The walls are a bit dusty from all the activity on the street outside. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of the equipment and the staff moving stuff around. We handle a variety of plastic molding jobs. Most days are spent making sure the quality is decent and the counts are right before things get loaded onto the tempos. It’s loud and it can get pretty hot in the summer, but that’s just how it is in the industrial zone. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk or meetings. We just look at what needs to be made and we get to it. Sometimes we run behind if a machine acts up, but we usually fix it ourselves. Our neighbors are all doing similar stuff, so we help each other out with tools or advice once in a while. It's a humble place, but it's where we spend most of our lives. We’re just a bunch of people trying to keep the production line moving without too much fuss. It isn't perfect, but we keep the wheels turning and stay busy from morning till late.
