Jas Raney & Co. (India)

Jas Raney & Co. (India) is tucked away at K-18 in Kirti Nagar. Most people think of Kirti Nagar as just a place for furniture, and while there is a lot of that, we do our own thing here. We’ve been at this address for a long time now. The building has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and it fits our needs. We have a mix of office work and storage going on. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the files and samples we’ve collected over the years. We don't really do the whole modern, minimalist look. It's more about having what we need within reach. The street outside K-18 is always moving, with trucks loading and unloading at all hours. We have a small crew that feels more like a family since we’ve all been working together for so long. We drink tea twice a day and talk about the news. Our work is pretty standard, nothing too flashy or complicated. We just handle our business and look after the clients who have been coming to us for decades. It’s a quiet sort of operation despite the noise of the neighborhood. We don’t have a big website or a social media person. We just have our name on the gate and a phone that rings fairly often. Most days we are just busy checking invoices and making sure the stock levels are right for next week.
