The Pacific Unisex Salon

We’ve been here at C-196/7 on Sombazar Road for quite some time now. This part of Jeevan Park in Uttam Nagar stays pretty busy throughout the day, especially with Navjeevan Academy being so close by. When we open up the shop in the morning, the first thing we do is clean the mirrors and get the tools ready on the counters. The Pacific Unisex Salon is a place where anyone from the neighborhood can just walk in and take a seat. It isn't a fancy place with bright lights and loud music, just a simple shop where we do our work. Some of our customers have been coming to us since they were in school, and now they bring their own kids. That's just the way things go in a local spot like this. We handle hair cutting and other basic things people need. We don't use big words or try to sell anyone things they don't need. If the chairs are full, people just wait and chat about whatever is happening in Delhi that day. The fans keep spinning and we keep busy with the scissors and combs. It gets a bit dusty outside on the road, but we try to keep the inside decent. You can find us easily if you are near the academy. We are just a regular part of the street here. It’s a straightforward business, no frills, just everyday work for everyday people who need a haircut.
