The Darzi Group

If you look for Metro Pillar No-389 in Rajouri Garden, you'll find us pretty easily. We are over at No. A- 6, right in the thick of things. The Darzi Group isn’t a massive corporate entity, just a bunch of us working in this corner of the neighborhood. The metro line runs right by, and you can hear the rumble every few minutes, which sort of becomes the background noise of our lives. Rajouri Garden is always moving, always loud, and always crowded. It’s got a specific energy that keeps you awake. Our space is filled with the tools we need and not much else. We don’t have fancy signs or expensive furniture. We just have what’s necessary to do the work. The entrance can be a bit tricky to spot if you aren't looking, but most locals know the spot. We spend a lot of time just talking about the day's tasks over a cup of chai. It gets hot in the summers, and the fans never seem to spin fast enough, but we manage. You see people rushing to catch their trains all day long, and sometimes you see them fumbling with their tickets near the pillar. It’s a real place with real dust on the shelves and real people working hard. We like the grit of the area. It feels honest to be working right where everyone else is trying to make a living too. We stay until the metro lights come on.
