We are over in Tilak Nagar on the second floor of building 24/5A. Finding us can be a little tricky if you are not looking for the right door, but once you head up the stairs, it is pretty straightforward. Tilak Nagar is a crowded part of New Delhi, and there is always something going on outside. From our windows, we can see the street life and the shoppers walking by. The second floor is better than the ground floor because it is a bit quieter, but you still hear the heavy traffic from the main road nearby. The office is simple. We have our desks set up in a way that makes sense for the work we do. It is not a huge place, so we end up talking to each other across the room quite a bit. There is always a stack of documents somewhere that needs looking at. We try to keep the place tidy, but when things get busy, the files start to pile up. Lunch is usually something we bring from home, or we grab something quick from the market downstairs. The air conditioner works most of the time, which is a blessing during the June heat. We are just a small team trying to get through the daily tasks without too much fuss. It is a practical space for practical work, and we have been here long enough to feel at home in the neighborhood.
