Maggo Store

Maggo Store is located right in the middle of the Choti Sabzi Mandi in Janakpuri. If you’ve been to the mandi, you know how loud and chaotic it is, especially in the mornings when the vegetables arrive. Our shop is small and we try to squeeze in as many items as possible. We’ve got house supplies, snacks, and some basic electronics tucked away on the top shelves. The floor is concrete and a bit uneven. We don't have fancy lights or air conditioning. Most of our customers are women who come to buy their daily vegetables and then stop by us for a packet of milk or some soap. The number 41399 is on our paperwork, but everyone just knows us as the shop near the corner of the market. It gets very muddy during the rainy season, and we have to put out some cardboard for people to walk on. We’ve known the other vendors here for years. We talk about the weather and the price of onions while waiting for customers. It's not a quiet place to work, but we like being part of the market life. We stay open late because people often realize they forgot something for dinner at the last minute. It's a basic store for the local community. We don't do home delivery or anything, people just walk in. We just try to have what people need for their homes.
