Doordie

Doordie is located in Patel Nagar. It’s a lively neighborhood with plenty of people walking by all the time. We aren't in a big corporate park or a glass skyscraper. Our space is just a regular building on a regular street. When we first started Doordie, we didn't have much of a plan, we just knew we wanted to work for ourselves. The office is a bit of a mess most of the time. We have stacks of papers, some old coffee mugs, and a few chairs that have seen better days. We don't spend money on decor because it doesn't really matter for what we do. Patel Nagar can be a bit chaotic with the traffic and the noise from the markets, but we like being in the middle of it. It feels real. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two, and we just have to sit and wait or work by the light from the window. We don't have a bunch of fancy titles for everyone. We all just pitch in and do whatever needs doing. Some days we are super busy and stay late, and other days we close up early if the work is finished. We don't have a big vision or anything. We just want to run a decent business and treat people fairly. Most of our neighbors know us now, and we often stop to chat with them when we’re heading out for a break. It’s just a normal, local business.
