Summet Export

Summet Export is located in Rama Park, which is part of the Uttam Nagar area. It’s a busy place with lots of small businesses all crammed together. We focus on exporting goods, which means a lot of our time is spent on the phone or filling out those long forms that the government likes so much. Our office isn't very large. It’s basically just one main room with a couple of desks and a lot of filing cabinets that don't always close right. We have a small warehouse space nearby where we keep the goods before they go out. It’s nothing fancy, just some sturdy shelves and a lot of tape and cardboard. Uttam Nagar can be a bit chaotic with the traffic, especially near the metro station, so we try to get our shipping done early in the morning. I started this with my business partner about ten years ago. We’ve had good years and bad years, like anyone else. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a social media person. We just talk to our regular contacts and see what needs to be moved. It’s a lot of physical work and sometimes we’re here late into the night. It’s just what we do to keep the business running in Rama Park. We take the orders as they come and try to stay organized.
