Sandip Gears is located at A-14/2 in the Maya Puri area. This is an industrial zone, so it is mostly warehouses and factories around us. We spend our days making and repairing gears of all sizes. The workshop is always a bit messy with metal shavings and oil on the floor. We don't have a fancy reception area for visitors. You just come in through the main gate and find us at the machines. It is a lot of heavy work, and our hands are usually stained with black grease. We’ve been in Maya Puri for a long time. The building is a bit old, and the roof leaks a little when it rains really hard. We just put a bucket under it and keep working. We don't have any big marketing plans. People in the industry know us by word of mouth. We have a small staff of local guys who know their way around the lathes. We eat our lunch together on some crates in the back. It’s a straightforward life. We don't use any complicated software to run the place. We just write down what needs to be done on a piece of paper. Sometimes the power goes out, and we take that time to have some extra chai. It is a plain, hard-working shop and we are okay with that. We don't need any more than this.
