Sandeep Confectionery

Sandeep Confectionery sits at shop number 1210 in Gali Mata Wali. If you are looking for us, we are right in Najafgarh, not far from Jawahar Chowk. It’s a tight street, so it can get crowded with people and scooters. We have all sorts of sweets and treats on the shelves. It’s a family-run shop and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Some of the kids who used to come in for a single piece of candy are now bringing their own children. It makes us feel a bit old, but it’s nice. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into the space we have. We spend most of our day behind the counter. It’s a lot of chatting with the regulars and making sure the jars are full. We don't go in for big marketing or slogans. We just sell what people like to eat. Sometimes we run out of things faster than we expected. It gets really busy during the holidays, and the whole family has to pitch in to help. The lights in the street aren't always great at night, but people still find their way to us. We just want to keep things simple and keep the shop running like it always has. It’s a good life here in Najafgarh. We plan to stay here as long as we can keep the doors open and the jars filled.
