We've been doing this for a long time, since 1978 to be exact. Bread & More is part of the Kwality Restaurant and Icecream family, and this specific spot is at B-3-B 43A in Janakpuri. When you walk in, you can usually smell the bread baking, which is the best part of the day. We’ve seen Janakpuri change a lot over the decades, but we’ve stayed right here in this unit. It’s a local place where people come to get their daily loaves or maybe a treat for the kids. We aren't trying to be a fancy French patisserie; we are just a neighborhood bakery that’s been around long enough to know what people like. The shelves are usually full by the morning, and we try to keep things moving so everything stays fresh. The floor is a bit worn from all the feet coming through over forty years, but we like it that way. It shows we’ve been busy. My family has been involved in the food business for ages, so running this place feels very natural. We have our regulars who have been coming since they were children, and now they bring their own kids. It’s a simple shop with good ovens and a lot of history. We don’t do big advertising; people just know we are here on the block. It’s just us baking bread and serving the community day after day. We like the routine.
