Rashid Ahned Sons

You will find Rashid Ahned Sons over in Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase 2, right at A 96. It is an industrial zone, so it is never really quiet around here. There is always the sound of metal moving or machines humming in the background. We have been working out of this space for years, and it feels like home even with all the dust and the heavy lifting. The shop floor is usually a bit of a mess because we are always in the middle of some project or another, but we know exactly where every tool is kept. Most days start with a cup of hot chai while we look at what needs to get done before the sun goes down. People in the area know us by name, and we mostly deal with the other businesses around the block. It is hard work and your hands are almost always covered in oil or dirt by ten in the morning. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby for people to sit in. If you come by, you just walk right into the middle of the work. Sometimes it gets really hot in the summer under the tin roof, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We are just a local family business trying to do honest work every day in this busy part of Delhi.
