Rajwada The Ladies Saloon

This is a ladies-only salon located at Shop Number 118 in the Kakrola Housing Complex. If you are taking the metro, we are right near Pillar Number 789 at Dwarka More. It’s a convenient spot because the Allahabad Bank is also right there. We started this shop because there weren't many places for women nearby that felt private and relaxed. It’s not a very big shop, just a few stations for threading, hair cutting, and henna. We get a lot of girls coming in before weddings or just for their regular monthly visits. The walls have some old pictures on them, and we usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively. It gets a bit crowded on Sunday afternoons, so sometimes people have to wait on the small bench we have outside. We try our best to keep things clean and tidy, but with hair everywhere, it’s a constant job. The neighborhood kids are always running around outside the shop making a lot of noise. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the families living in the complex. It’s just a normal local business. Nothing too special, just a place where you can get your work done and chat a bit about the day. Most of our customers come by word of mouth from their neighbors. We usually close up once the sun goes down and the market gets a bit quieter. It’s been a good journey so far in this little corner of the city.
