R Plaha Associates

R Plaha Associates is based out of New Delhi, specifically in the 110043 area. It’s one of those parts of the city that feels a bit more lived-in and real. The office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular door in a busy street. Inside, we’ve got a couple of rooms filled with desks and a lot of cabinets. There’s a constant smell of old paper and maybe a bit of ink. We’ve been in this spot for a while, so we’ve accumulated a lot of things over the years. The air conditioner is a bit old and makes a humming sound, but it keeps the Delhi heat away during the summer months. I usually sit in the corner office where I can see the street. It’s interesting to watch the people go by while I’m working on various associate tasks. We don't really do much in the way of decorating. There are some old calendars on the wall and a map of the city that’s probably out of date by now. Everything is about being practical here. We have a small table for meetings, though it usually ends up covered in files. It’s a place where work actually happens without any of the corporate fluff. We just come in, do our bit, and head home when the day is over. It’s a simple setup for a busy city life.
