Our workplace is located at Flat 801 in the Gh-5 and 7 area of Paschim Vihar. It’s up on one of the higher floors, so we get a bit of a view of the Delhi skyline, which is nice when things get a little stressful. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now, handling all the back-end tasks that Wns deals with. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a big reception desk or a lot of glitz. It’s just a workspace filled with computers and people who know how to use them. We deal with a lot of data and processing, so it’s usually quite focused and quiet inside, except for the sound of typing. Paschim Vihar is a busy residential and commercial mix, so there is always something going on outside our windows. We have a small team here, and we mostly keep to ourselves and get our work finished by the end of the shift. Sometimes the elevators take a minute to arrive, and the lobby can be a bit crowded, but that’s just living in Delhi. We don’t try to act like we are something we aren’t. We are just a local office doing our part in a larger system. It’s practical work that requires us to pay attention to the details every single day. We like the area because it’s easy for most of us to get to from home using the local transport.
