Pragathi Agencies

Pragathi Agencies is right here in Janakpuri, specifically at Sun House, Plot No.4 in the C-Block Community Center. It’s a busy spot, especially around lunch when everyone from the nearby offices comes out to find something to eat. We’ve been in this office for a good while now. The building is okay, nothing fancy, but it works well enough for what we do. If you know the Janakpuri area, you know how the traffic can get near the community centers. Most days start with opening up the shutters and getting the computer going. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just sit and talk or go grab a tea downstairs. The space inside is mostly filled with desks and some files we’ve kept over the years. We handle all sorts of agency work, whatever people need when they walk in. It’s not a huge team, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We know the neighbors pretty well, like the guy who runs the small stationary shop next door. Janakpuri has changed a lot since we first set up here. There are more cars now, and it’s getting harder to find a parking spot if you come after ten in the morning. We just keep doing our thing every day from Monday to Saturday. It’s a regular routine, really. Nothing too exciting happens most days, but we like being part of this local block in New Delhi.
