Jagdev Beej Bhandar

We are over here at West Punjabi Bagh, right in G.N. House at 36/55. It’s been a while since Jagdev Beej Bhandar started out in this spot. Most days are pretty similar, just getting things ready and checking that the seeds are sorted. The neighborhood is usually busy with people coming and going. Sometimes it gets a bit loud outside but we are used to it by now. The office isn't anything fancy, just a desk and some chairs where we sit and talk to folks. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and keeping track of what’s coming in. It's mostly just about getting the work done and being here when the doors open in the morning. West Punjabi Bagh has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed in this same building. You can find us easily enough if you look for the 36/55 sign. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are. It’s a simple way of working. Some days are slow and we just sit around and drink tea, while other days are packed and we don't even have time to look up. It’s just the way it goes here. We try to keep the place tidy but with all the bags moving around, it’s hard to keep the floor clean for long. That's life at the shop. We just keep moving one day at a time.
