Anand Chickens

Anand Chickens has been a part of Tilak Nagar for a good while. If you live around this part of New Delhi, you probably know the area can get really crowded, especially on weekends. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We spend most of our time dealing with suppliers and making sure the stock is fresh for the people who come in every day. It is a noisy business, and there is always something to clean or organize. We are not a big chain or anything like that. It is just us here, working the counters and handling the back-end stuff. The mornings start very early for us, usually before most people are even awake, so we can get everything ready for the day's sales. People come to us because they know we have been here and we do not play games with what we sell. We do not have a fancy office with air conditioning; we are mostly on our feet in the shop. It gets hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the Tilak Nagar traffic, which can be frustrating, but we always find a way to get things sorted. It is a local business, run by local people who just want to do their jobs and go home at the end of the day. We have been serving this community for years and hope to keep going.
