Pooja Chocolate Wonder

You can find us at 31/8 in Patel Nagar West. It is more of a small workshop where we make different kinds of chocolates and sweet treats. It started out as a small thing at home and then we moved into this space. We have some cooling racks and molds scattered around. It isn't a big factory or anything, just a few people working with cocoa and sugar. The smell inside is usually pretty great, which is one of the perks of the job. We spend a lot of time wrapping the chocolates by hand, which takes a while but we are used to it by now. Patel Nagar is a residential area mostly, so we get locals dropping in to see what we have made that day. We don’t have a big fancy storefront with neon lights. It’s a pretty quiet street compared to the main roads. Sometimes we experiment with new flavors, adding nuts or different fillings, just to see how they turn out. The kitchen area has to be kept at a certain temperature so the chocolate doesn't melt or get weird. We have our regulars who come for gifts when there is a birthday or a wedding in the family. It is a lot of repetitive work, but seeing the finished trays of chocolates is nice. We just keep things simple and focus on the small batches we make every day. Our counters are usually full of boxes waiting to be picked up.
