Ortho Plus Hospital

Down here in Najafgarh, at R. J. B No. 28 in Gopal Nagar, you’ll find Ortho Plus Hospital. It’s a hospital, but it feels more like a local fixture than a big institution. We’ve been at this address for quite a while. The building has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and does the job. Inside, the hallways are wide enough for the stretchers, and there is always someone sitting behind the main counter to point you in the right direction. We deal with all sorts of orthopedic stuff, from simple sprains to things that need more serious attention. The waiting area has those metal chairs that are a bit cold in the winter, so most people bring a shawl. We have a small staff who have been with us for years. They know the regulars by name and don't need to look at the charts most of the time. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, though you can hear the kids playing in the street sometimes. We keep our supplies in the back room, which is usually a bit cluttered but we know where everything is. It’s a functional place. We don’t spend much on decorations or fancy signs. We just focus on getting people back on their feet. Usually, the day ends with us checking the inventory and locking up the gate. It's steady work, and we like being part of Gopal Nagar and the community here. Every day brings someone new with a story.
