You can find us at A-2/15 in the W.H.S. part of Kirti Nagar. It’s a busy corner of the city, and we’ve been part of it for a good stretch of time. The warehouse is where we spend most of our lives. It’s filled with marble slabs that we’ve brought in, and they take up almost every inch of floor space. We have to be careful when we move things around so nothing gets chipped. The office is just a small partitioned space where we keep the ledger and the phone. It’s often loud outside because of the traffic in Kirti Nagar, but we’re used to it. We deal with a lot of architects and builders who know exactly what they want. We don't spend time on fancy presentations. We just pull the slabs out with the hoist and let them take a look. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and manual labor every single day. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the business with the guys from the shops next door. It’s a local way of living. We don’t have any grand plans, just keeping the inventory moving and making sure the orders are correct. The walls are covered in old calendars and notes scribbled in pen. It’s a real place run by real people who just know their stone.
