Our place is over at 13, Shivaji Marg, right in the Zakhira area. It’s an older part of town with a lot of activity going on all the time. Devyani Ceramics (P) Ltd. has been operating from this spot for a while. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a practical space where we handle the day-to-day business. The traffic on Shivaji Marg can get pretty backed up, especially in the afternoons, so we’re used to the noise outside. Inside, it’s mostly just piles of ceramics and people working. We don't spend a lot of time on office decor or making things look perfect for photos. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of what we handle, but that’s just how it is when you work with these materials. We have our regulars who know where to find us in Zakhira. Usually, someone is around to help if a truck comes in or if a customer drops by with questions. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the orders we have to get out. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and checking the inventory. We’ve been in this building long enough that the walls have a few scuffs, but it serves us well. No big corporate meetings here, just us getting through the daily list of things to do. If you know the Zakhira crossing, you know roughly where we are.
