Arun Bindi

Working at Arun Bindi means we spend a lot of time near the Nangli Sakrawati Metro Station in Najafgarh. You can hear the metro trains going by all day long, which becomes a sort of background music for us. We are located right near the station, so it's a very busy spot with people rushing to catch their trains. Najafgarh is a lively place, and being near the Nangli Sakrawati Metro Station twice as much means there is always traffic and noise right at our doorstep. Inside, we are mostly focused on the bindis, getting the colors and the packs ready. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we have a good rhythm going. The workspace is filled with small boxes and bits of material. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when we have a big order to finish, and the room feels a bit small. We usually leave the door open to get a breeze, even if it brings in the sounds of the street. It’s a simple setup, and we’ve been here near the station for a good while. Most of the people working here live nearby in Najafgarh, so we just walk to work. It’s a decent life and we keep busy with the daily tasks of packing and checking the stock.
