Malhotra'S The Garments Store is right in the middle of Jwalaheri Market in Paschim Vihar. If you know this market, you know it's always packed, especially in the evenings. Our shop is one of many, but we’ve been here for a long time. We mostly sell ready-made clothes. Our day usually starts with opening the shutters and sweeping the front. Then we spend time arranging the racks so people can see what’s new. It’s a local shop, so we see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood. We don't have a big corporate team or anything. It's just a few of us making sure the customers find what they need. Sometimes the shop gets very crowded, and it’s hard to move around, but that’s just how market life is. We don't bother with fancy displays or high-end lighting. We just put the clothes out and let people browse. We talk to people, suggest sizes if they ask, and handle the billing. It’s a very normal way of doing business. The market has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. We enjoy being part of Paschim Vihar. It’s a lot of standing on our feet all day and folding things back up after someone tries them on, but we're used to the routine.
