Lotus Computer Embroiders

We are right next to the Tirumala Theatre on Sarjapura Road. If you are coming down H S R. Layout, you can't miss us. The sign is a bit faded, but it is still there at number 839. We have these big computer machines for embroidery. They make a lot of noise when they are running, so it gets pretty loud in here. I started this place because I liked seeing how the needles move so fast. We do a lot of work for local shops and sometimes individual people who want a name on a shirt. It is dusty because of all the thread and fabric bits. My cousin helps me out with the patterns. We spend most of our day staring at the small screens on the machines. Sarjapura Road is always packed with traffic, so we hear the honking all day long. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to fix them ourselves with a bit of oil and patience. We do not have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. There are just some plastic chairs near the door. People bring in their bags of clothes, and we tell them when to come back. It is a lot of sitting and watching the thread. We have been here for a while, and the theatre next door is a good landmark for people who get lost. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines going. It is a living, and it keeps the family busy every day.
