Kalpaakriti

Our place is tucked away at M-405, Guruharkishan Nagar, using the rear entrance on the first floor. It can be a little hard to find the first time, but most people manage. We’ve been in West Delhi for a while, working on various design and creative projects. Kalpaakriti is a small setup. We have a lot of samples lying around and books piled up on the floor. It’s a creative space, so it isn't always tidy, but we know where everything is. We spend our days working through different ideas for people who want something a bit different for their homes or offices. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear casual clothes and listen to the radio while we work. Sometimes we stay late because a project is at a tricky stage and we want to get it right. People come to us when they have a general idea but don’t know how to make it real. We talk it out over some tea and see what’s possible. Delhi is a busy city, and our little corner in Guruharkishan Nagar is our home base where we can actually think. We don't do much advertising. Usually, someone’s cousin or neighbor tells them about us. We just like making things and keeping the business running smoothly without any unnecessary drama or complicated processes. It keeps us busy and the bills paid. It's just how we like it.
