You can find us at 101-102 in the Ratan Jyoti building at Rajendra Place. It’s an older office block, and it gets quite busy during the day with everyone rushing around. We’ve been in these two units for a long time now. The rooms are filled with desks, old files, and a few computers that have seen better days. It isn’t a modern, open-plan office with bean bags or anything like that. It feels more like a traditional workplace where people actually sit down and get through their piles of work. We handle a lot of different things under the name Jaksons, but mostly it’s about keeping the administrative side of things moving. The elevators in the building are sometimes slow, so we end up taking the stairs more often than not. There’s a tea stall downstairs that everyone goes to during the break. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just answer the phones and deal with the paperwork as it comes across the desk. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we’ve grown used to the close quarters. The view from the window is just other buildings and the street below, but it’s home for us during the work week. We try to keep things simple and not overcomplicate the day. That’s just the way we like it.
