You can find us at B-48 on the ground floor in the Keshav Pur Industrial Area. We are quite close to the H-Block and the local petrol pump, which makes it easy for the delivery trucks to find our spot. I Silkroute Creation Private Limited is basically a small workshop where we focus on different types of creations and fabrics. Being in an industrial area like Vikas Puri means there is always noise from machines and vehicles, but we have gotten used to it over the years. Our space is mostly taken up by work tables and stacks of materials. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If someone walks in, they usually just talk to whoever is closest to the door. We work with a lot of different patterns and designs, trying to get things right for the clients who send us work. It is not glamorous, and our clothes often get dusty from the fabric lint. We drink a lot of tea from the stall around the corner to keep our energy up. We don't really have a big philosophy or anything. We just show up in the morning, look at what needs to be finished, and get to it. Sometimes we have to stay late when a machine breaks down or a shipment is late. We are just regular people trying to do a good job in a busy part of Delhi. We like that we are on the ground floor because it makes moving heavy bundles much easier for everyone.
