Goldy Traders

Goldy Traders is tucked away in New Mahavir Nagar, right over at H-47. Being near the Janakpuri East Metro Station makes it easy to find if you're walking, but the streets around Tilak Nagar get cramped. We deal with a lot of different stock coming through the doors every week. It’s mostly just us keeping track of boxes and making sure the inventory matches what we told people we have. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking tea, but other days the phone won't stop ringing. The shop isn't much to look at. We have shelves piled high and sometimes things get a bit disorganized when a big delivery arrives. We've been in this spot for a bit, so the neighbors know us. It’s a busy neighborhood and there is always something going on outside. We try to keep things simple. If we have it, we sell it. If we don't, we tell you. No point in making things complicated. The stairs up to the unit can be a bit steep if you're carrying stuff, but that's just how these buildings are built. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers. It's just a regular trading business, nothing flashy. We show up, do the work, and close the shutters at the end of the day. It’s a living and we don't ask for much more than that.
